Our mountain cottage can be reached in just 15 minutes by cable car from Monte Carasso to Mornera at 1350 m.a.s.l.
Ideal destination in the peace of mountains complete with mini spa for a totally relaxin stay.
Starting point for countless hikes through pine forests and woods along pastures and lakes or higher up to the peaks of the Alps.
The house is energy independent from the grid and works with batteries and electrical panels.
In the cold months, heating is provided by a storage wood stove and the fireplace.
We can accommodate up to 6 persons in two rooms (room 1 with a double bed and room 2 with two bunk beds).
The mountain house has a living room with fireplace and wood stove, an equipped kitchen with dining table, a toilet/shower and 2 rooms .
Outside the house has a terrace with an enchanting view and an outdoor table, a barbecue grill and deckchairs for absolute relaxation.
At guests' disposal our Mini Spa* with sauna (max. 65 degrees) and outdoor wood-fired hot pot for absolute moments of relaxation!
A few dozen metres away, you can cool off in the small mountain lake.
* Mini Spa (outdoor hot pot and mini-sauna) subject to a charge.
The walk from the arrival of the cableway to the cottage takes about 10 minutes.
There are no shops up there so you will have to plan to bring your own food …!
Of course you can grab the cableway and come down to the stores.

At the cableway arrival is Grotto Mornera (opening days and time schedule changes all the year along), if you are interested into dinner better if you call for booking (091 825 84 38).
